Organization of Ashwinkumar Bhoir Gold Cup and Dadoba Gawand Cup 2006 ( A National Level Kabaddi Tournament)
From 27th October 2006 to 31st October 2006, the Mandal successfully organized “Ashwinkumar Bhoir Gold Cup and Dadoba Gawand Cup 2006” ( A National Level Kabaddi Tournament) in collaboration with Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association and Raigad District Association. 42 men and 38 women teams have been participated and demonstrated their skills of sportsmanship in the tournament. The Mandal provided accommodations facility, food and specious playground along with grand audience gallery.
This prestigious tournament is inaugurated by auspicious hands of Hon’ble Shri. Ajit Pawar, the water conservation and Irrigation Minister, Maharashtra and the Prize distribution ceremony was held in the august presence of Hon’ble Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh, the Chief Minister of Government of Maharashtra.
Mandal offered the biggest bonanza of Rs. 1,11,111/-, 77,777/- and 44,444/- for the first, second and third rankers of the tournaments for men and women teams separately along with attractive prizes to individual achievers
